Kenny
Joins The Great Water Challenge
If
you're serious about saving water, join The Great Water Challenge on Channel
7 on Saturday December 16, at 5pm.
Host Sarah Groen and AFL great Tony Shaw are joined by Kenny, Australia's favourite
plumber, to help families clean up their act in a bid to save 100,000 litres of
water each year.
Kenny,
provides a star cameo, turning a dry subject into a flood of fun. With his inimitable
style, Kenny offers plenty of flushing advice and makes some groovy moves in a
rain dance.
Along the way, viewers will pick up plenty of tips and advice to make their home
water wise.
"This show is extremely timely, given the current state of drought in Australia.
The family taking part was keen to take the water challenge, and viewers at home
can join in too," Executive producer Steve Oemcke said.
The informative and fun program provides inspiration for viewers to save water
in a variety of ways, Mr Oemcke said.
"Simple things like running grey water from the washing machine onto the
garden makes use of water that would otherwise go down the drain, Mr Oemcke said.
"The Great Water Challenge will provide inspiration and encouragement
for everyone to make every drop count," Mr Oemcke said.
