WTFN Entertainment Media Release

12 January 2007
Melbourne's Prolific Television Production Company

WTFNWhile other television production houses slow down over summer, Melbourne's WTFN Entertainment is full steam ahead.

Making more than 120 first run episodes of television programs during 2006, WTFN Entertainment is responsible for Coxy's Big Break, Talk To The Animals, On Display, The Great Water Challenge and Australia's favourite dating show, Shopping for Love, which is now in its second season over summer 2006/2007.

"Every single week during 2006 Victorian viewers could watch a WTFN-made program on free-to-air television", Managing Director Daryl Talbot said.

For several weeks in 2006, WTFN had a staggering four programs on air at the same time. Coxy's Big Break and On Display on 7, Beyond The Boundary on 10 and Talk To The Animals on 9. As soon as these programs finished their 2006 season, Shopping for Love began its second 10-week season on Nine Network.

Directors Daryl Talbot and Steve Oemcke formed the company in 2001, and together the 40-strong team at WTFN make programs for all commercial networks. They recently made strong international sales for Talk to the Animals, Coxy's Big Break and Shopping for Love.

Several new programs are also in production, with staff already in full swing for the 2007 seasons of Coxy's Big Break and Talk To The Animals, along with several new programs in development.
