On
Display, the innovative display home program, is moving stations in 2007,
from the Seven Network to the Nine Network.
Made in Melbourne by WTFN Entertainment, On Display gives viewers a guided
tour of new housing and developments, from affordable first homes to magnificent
mansions where money is no option.
The 13-week second series, hosted by Nicky McCarthy, will air on Nine Network
from Saturday, March 17. The first series of seven episodes ran on Seven Network
in 2006.
WTFN Executive Producer Steve Oemcke said the Saturday, 11.30am time slot was
perfect for this program, as it's traditionally the day people set aside time
to research buying a new home.
"What happened last year was phenomenal. With only a seven-week run, we created
a switch-on factor that increased every week. People watched the show, then they
got in their car and checked the display homes out for themselves," Mr Oemcke
said.
The first series increased audience share by 34 per cent on the lead-in program,
and won its ratings in six of the seven episodes.
