WTFN's cinematographers have brought home gold, silver and bronze at the recent ACS state awards.

Managing director Daryl Talbot says the awards capped a year of tremendous growth by the company, which will continue into the new year and throughout 2008.

In the TV magazine category, WTFN took out gold and silver, thanks to John Hall's great work on the Jeep Patriot and Hummer stories for Test Drive. In the same category, Cambell Munro completed the trifecta, winning the bronze for the Bangkok episode of Coxy's Big Break.

Cambell also won bronze in the Wildlife and Nature category, for his work on the Elephant Hospital story for Talk To The Animals.

Director of Production Steve Oemcke says the awards recognise the calibre of creative talent within WTFN and the continuing high quality of its programs.

"These aspects are also beneficial to WTFN Entertainment in creating interest from overseas markets, whilst at the same time maintaining strong viewer ratings in Australia" said Mr Oemcke.

The The 2007 Victorian & Tasmanian State Awards for Cinematography were held on Saturday 24 November at Melbourne Town Hall.
